This resource includes a step-by-step guide for practitioners working with children affected by HIV and AIDS, poverty and conflict.  They were written through a consultative, participatory process and can be used either as guidelines for program design or as background information.  The six steps  start with enhancing the scope of psychosocial support in economic strengthening programs.  The steps expand to include theoretical/ethical considerations for child involvement, practical actions, networking and advocacy, human/financial/material resources needed, and assessment formats.  The resource includes an annex of resources on economic strengthening and psychosocial care and support.
