African remains home to one of the largest populations of children with disabilities in the world. Alongside barriers, these children often endure higher rates of abuse, neglect and violence than other vulnerable children. This report analyses and details assessments of accessibility to people with disabilities in Addis Ababa, Freetown, Lusaka, Kampala and Johannesburg. This document serves as an important reference for policymakers, service providers, civil society organizations, development partners, caregivers and communities.
