This study, conducted by Catholic Relief Services – Rwanda, seeks to better understand the profile of volunteers used to reach orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), their motivation, importance of incentives and the volunteer’s relationship to the church. The purpose of this study is to improve the quality of services provided to OVC in Rwanda. Findings of this study involving volunteer demographics, performance, church involvement, volunteer history, transportation and incentives are included and discussed in detail. This study is important to those using volunteers in their OVC programs.
