This research report compiles current “good practice” in child participation as an approach to developing child-friendly policies and legislation to ensure delivery of rights-based services for orphans and vulnerable children. Though there has been significant research done in effective OVC programming, little research has been done on the impact of children’s participation on OVC programming. This report contains a resource kit intended for institutions, trainers and individuals working with OVC to implement programs or develop policies that support child participation.
