The OVC Taskforce Co-Chairs, with technical experts from USAID and CDC, have developed this document to support continued case management and service delivery for vulnerable children and families within the COVID-19 context. This guidance is intended to help implementing partners think about how best to deliver critical services to children and families most at risk due to HIV and GBV using a remote and/or adapted case management approach.
DRAFT Tips and Considerations for PEPFAR OVC Remote Case Management in the Context of COVID-19 offers practical considerations for conducting remote case management in an OVC program, including tips on classifying current OVC caseloads, preparing to conduct remote case management calls, assessing family well-being, addressing concerns about COVID-19, delivering key information and services, and referring for critical services.
