Getting in line is an analysis of a nine-country study in East and Southern Africa that maps involvement, roles and responsibilities of civil society in the national response to orphans and vulnerable children made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS. This analysis uses the studies as a basis to provide recommendations to increase civil society, external agencies and government engagement and facilitate alignment with the national vision, principles and strategies.
