This tool was developed by a team of technical advisors at Catholic Relief Services for children to self-report on wellbeing domains in order to improve the quality and responsiveness of OVC programs. This was designed to be a practical, reliable and valid tool that can be used across OVC programs in order to capture quality data about child wellbeing in OVC programs. Domains of child wellbeing were identified as food & nutrition, shelter, protection, family, health, spirituality, mental health, education, economic opportunities and community cohesion. This tool is useful for programmatic teams working with OVC to monitor programs in order to make adjustments throughout and respond to emerging needs.
