This study examines the knowledge, attitudes, practices and beliefs of street-based children in the context of HIV/AIDS. The results clearly demonstrate the high vulnerability of street-based children to HIV/AIDS. The information provides a valuable understanding of the vulnerability and risk behaviours of street-based children which need to be targeted for HIV prevention.
