Mainstreaming psychosocial support provides a socially and emotionally supportive environment at home, school, clinics, play spaces, etc. This guideline is a basic guide that is generic in nature to work in a variety of sectors and organizations. This guide provides information on mainstreaming psychosocial support including strategic leverage; strengthening psychosocial support in programming; project methods and tools; skills and knowledge; and monitoring and evaluation. Program implementers and practitioners may use this guide as a reference for strengthening and comprehensive mainstreaming of psychosocial support.
