Quality of Care Initiative (AQCI) for OVC in Africa

This document describes the rationale, vision, activities and implementation plan of an African Quality of Care Initiative (AQCI) for OVC in Africa. The initiative was established following recommendations from 15 African countries to mobilize resources to facilitate capacity building events, provide communication mechanisms and technical assistance to countries and implementing partners in developing service standards and monitoring and improving the quality of care provided to OVC
