Save the Children developed this child rights based monitoring and evaluation mechanism to build the capacity of rights based organizations in response to a lack of mechanisms available for program implementers from the Convention of the Rights of the Child. Save the Children organized a workshop to explore application of these monitoring and evaluation tools. This document is a summary of challenges, opportunities and methods to minimize threats brought about by this workshop. The purpose of this report is to provide outside organizations with an overall understanding of rights based monitoring and evaluation.
