The Action Workshop was developed to aid communities in next steps for helping and protecting their children. This community-based workshop provides methods for cohesion and skills among community members of all ages. Included in this resource are four workshops: Community Parenting: How to Build Strong Families in Difficult Times, Helping Our Children Understand Death, Lessons from Life, and Training of Trainers Workshop. The Journey of Life series encourages community awareness regarding issues that children are faced with in HIV/AIDS affected communities, war, violence and family fragmentation. The purpose of this resource is to strengthen community resilience of children and identify solutions for challenges faced by children by using locally available resources.
