Integrating Early Childhood Development Interventions into HIV Clinical Care Interventions

The importance of early childhood development (ECD) has been made abundantly clear as has the particular vulnerability of children living with HIV.  What has been less clear is the best way to integrate ECD interventions into HIV clinical care.  The Coordinating Comprehensive Care for Children (4Children) project was asked to explore examples of ECD integration into HIV clinical care, current barriers and opportunities to better integrate ECD, and suggestions for changing provider behavior.

This webinar is an opportunity to hear more on the topic, particularly programmatic experiences.  The content will focus on why ECD and clinical care is important, entry points and interventions, and strategies and opportunities that currently exist.

Moderators: Beth Bradford, Senior Technical Advisor for Family Strengthening and Dr. Lucie Cluver, Professor of Child and Family Social Work, Oxford University
