The purpose of this qualitative research study is to explore the perceptions and describe the experiences of professional nurses regarding HIV counseling and testing among children. Data was collected via a series of focus group discussions and highlights some of the challenges faced by health care providers including obtaining consent for testing from caregivers as well as work overload.
